Passing the Baton in the Race of Life

Please join me, your Summit Chair and emcee, for the Spring Chapter Leader Summit as we explore “running the race” of a chapter and “passing the baton.” This is certain to be an afternoon of fun, fellowship, and leadership challenges.

I attend conferences and summits because I enjoy seeing current members and meeting new ones.  It’s great to share ideas and learn from the challenges facing others and how they solved them.  It’s refreshing to hear different approaches, how they worked or didn’t work and what someone learned from the experience.  Getting away just for a day or two can really recharge me.

Association members often attend the conferences to network, socialize, learn and be inspired. As your Summit Chair and emcee, my goal is to motivate all chapter leaders with the same passion and enthusiasm that drives me in my daily life. I’m excited to share some of the moments that changed my life and hope they will help you take positive steps in 2015.

I do hope you will stick around for the awards reception where I have the distinct honor of presenting this year’s Graalman Award winners. The afternoon will provide you guidance and inspiration to be the very best chapter leader you can be. The evening will honor those chapters who have worked hard to meet and exceed the goal of effectively connecting the NCMA mission and values to our members.

  • Do your homework! (Details to follow)
  • Wear comfortable clothes! (We will be moving around)
  • Stretch and strengthen for “passing the baton!

See you March 13!
